About Aarohi by Sanam

Hi! I’m Sanam, the founder of Aarohi.

Aarohi is something deeply close to my heart and a dream I have been nurturing for over three years.

As a full-time physical therapist, I always valued the work I did, but I knew there was something more I wanted for my life. I hit a point where I was tired, burnt out and disconnected from what truly made me happy.  I wanted to wake up each morning feeling inspired and fulfilled. Fashion, especially Indian fashion, had always been my passion. I was drawn to the regal elegance, the craftsmanship, and the confidence it brings.

That love became the foundation of Aarohi.

Along the way, there was a lot of noise! People telling me the industry was too competitive, too risky, and full of reasons why this dream wouldn’t work. I chose to block it out. I believed in Aarohi, and more importantly, I believed in myself.

From the beginning, my vision was clear. I wanted to build a brand rooted in quality and intention, where modern silhouettes meet traditional artistry. I was committed to sourcing premium fabrics, working closely with artisans in India, and being deeply involved in every step of the process. Each piece is thoughtfully created to honor my culture while embracing luxury.

Aarohi is not fast fashion.
It is a reflection of patience, craftsmanship, and purpose.

My vision is to build a luxury brand that releases thoughtfully curated collections in limited quantities, without constant restocks, so every piece remains exclusive and true to its purpose. Each design is created with care, dedication, and deep respect for the artistry behind it.

Over three years, I developed just ten designs because I believe true luxury lies in quality, not quantity.

The name Aarohi represents growth, evolution, and forward movement. A reflection of both this brand and my personal journey.

Building Aarohi reignited my passion and creativity. It reminded me why I began this journey: to create something meaningful, beautiful, and lasting. While every startup has its challenges, launching Aarohi marks the beginning of a new chapter - one rooted in vision, perseverance, and purpose.
